HOBART WHALING CONFERENCE 2019

THE INAUGURAL HOBART WHALING CONFERENCE WAS SUCCESSFULLY HELD ON ​MONDAY 6 AND TUESDAY 7 MAY, 2019 AT THE MARITIME MUSEUM OF TASMANIA IN HOBART, AUSTRALIA. THE ORGANISERS THANKS ALL OF THE PRESENTERS AND ATTENDEES.

A RANGE OF THEMES WERE EXPLORED INCLUDING WHALING AROUND AUSTRALIA AND THE PACIFIC BY THE BRITISH AND COLONIAL WHALE AND SEAL FISHERIES. STAYED TUNED FOR INFORMATIOM ABOUT A SET OF PROCEEDINGS OF THE PAPERS PRESENTED AT THE CONFERENCE.
